Ziggy on the Run Buy Now

Filmed in Greenwich Village in 1982, "Ziggy on the run" is a short documentary about Bobby Andriani, who was truly a magical first tenor.
He sang backup, along with Dionne Warwick for fledgling producer Phil Spector.
He was signed to Atlantic Records by Ahmet Ertegun.
He was also a writing partner to the legendary songwriter, Doc Pomus.
Quoting Dionne," He sings like an angel".
Bobby suffered from schizophrenia beginning in his late teens, which frustrated all the now famous entertainers, who desperately tried to help this incredible talent. He survived living in the Greenwich Village NYC streets for 33 years in spite of his illness.

The significance of this documentary is not related to Bobby's' mental illness or homelessness. It was produced to introduce a voice like no other. It displays the magical aura that this singer possessed.

"Ziggy on the Run" reveals the pure emotion, perfect pitch, immense power, and lack of strain present in all of the greatest singers of our time. The recordings Bobby left behind provided him with no challenge at all.

There are so many stories of artists who live in the streets, but we felt this particular one needed to be told. He was both my mentor and my friend.
Imagine:
Promoting a Ferrari by racing it at 100 mph.
In a world where it seems like everyone can sing, I am proud to present Bobby Andriani running at half speed.
